For your Anon. Tumblr user sarahtude was a D III gymnast (just finished her senior year) and if I remember correctly she only completed through level 9. I'm sure she'd be happy to answer any questions.

Yes! Thank you! Here anon! :)

I'm 15 and just graduated freshman year as a level 8 (and not a very good one) and I'm competing at least one more year of 8. If I competed 9 as a junior and senior what do you think my chances would be of getting in to a division II or III school?

Humm, I don’t know that much about Division 2 and 3 schools. BUT from what I hear, level 9 is about right for a division 2 or 3. If you find a school you’re interested in, definitely go to it and check out their gym and talk to them! You never know, they might have you join their team!

But you still have 3 more years to think about that stuff, so in the meantime, stay focused on high school and then being the best gymnast you can be!

:)

My thoughts on Classics…

Aly Raisman:
She proved to be even more consistent and confident. I hope she stays in good health. And I hope she cleans up her Amanar and her bars in general for a better chance for an AA medal in London.

McKayla Maroney:
Can her vault get any better?! Honestly! I want her to throw a triple but I also want her to stay healthy so we’ll see what happens. She knows she needs to clean up beam a little and she’s set. This girl is the definition of grace and elegance. I love watching her compete.

Kyla Ross:
This girl is really beginning to prove herself. She does pretty well under pressure, but she is the kind of athlete that keeps getting better and I love watching her confidence increase.

Anna Li:
Her bars is boss but she just needs to show it to her full potential. USA could definitely use her for bars. Her floor though… she needs more numbers girl! But she whipped that double layout around pretty well!

Amanda Jett:
She looked really tired or stressed out there, not sure which… But I love her gymnastics and I can’t wait to see her on the NCAA scene.

Gabby Dougie:
Gabby Gabby Gabby… Girl I love you. This girl has grown so much it’s amazing. Her confidence in herself and her gymnastics has just skyrocketed. If she gets more consistent she could contend for the AA…

Jo Wiebs:
Keeps proving herself and her consistency. This girl is fierce and will NOT let you get in her way. Can not wait to see her at Visas.

Becca Boss:
I don’t know if it’s just me or what but this girl either looks tired or mad when she goes to salute. So I’m really happy when she smiles after a routine.  I SWEAR IF SHE DOESN’T CHANGE HER BEAM DISMOUNT I WILL PERSONALLY CHANGE IT FOR HER.  I swear she’s going to get hurt with that dismount.  Her bars are SOLID. If she keeps throwing solid routines like that, there’s definatley a possibility of her in London.

NASTIA FREAKIN LIUKIN:
Hey haters, she’s back and ready to  kick some bootay!! But seriously, she had one of the most solid beam routines of the whole night. Cheers to her. She better compete bars at Visas, or else. And she looks confident as usual. Cheers to you nast.

Chellsie Memmel:
Uhh are you trying to kill me?! You shoulda competed floor girl you’re solid! I’m not sure what happened out there, but I hope your Olympic shot isn’t over… You deserve to at least go to Visas, if not Trials.

So what are your all’s opinions about the “Secret Classic”?! I would love to here what you all think! :D

Hi! I'm 15 and i just started gymnastics again in december ( i quit for almost 2 years) Do you think college gymnastics will be hard or difficult to get into if i'm trying to go level 9 next year? I've never competed 9 so idk if i will need to compete 2 years of it or not :/

Humm it might be pretty hard to get back into it, BUT, you can compete college gym if you’re like a level 9 or 10, you just won’t be a division 1 team like Florida or Bama, different schools have a bunchh of different gym levels if you know what I mean and they alll compete! So you could probably look into that if that sounds interesting. But I don’t really know what skills you had or anything…

:) xx

Hi! I'm portuguese and 15 years old. I found your tumblr and I just love it! It's really great (: I love gymnastics, when I was 7 years old I went to classes but I never went to competitions. Are you a competition gymnastic? You went to competitions and stuff like that? And where are you from and how old are you? Kisses.

Hi!! Awh thank you soo much! :)  Yes, I use to do competitive gymnastics, but I quit back in March. I’m from the US and I’m 15, turning 16 soon!
